Dinners and Milk
Children can choose to have a school lunch or bring their own packed lunch to school. The policy is that:
they have a school lunch every day or
they can opt to have a school lunch on just a Tuesday and Thursday or
a Tuesday only or Thursday only (refer to payment table below).
Our new menu selector system displays the menu on offer that day on the classroom whiteboard in the morning. Each pupil selects either 'packed lunch from home' or chooses a meal from the menu which is then charged to the pupil's ParentPay account. Pupils are then allocated a coloured wristband depending on what meal they have chosen so the kitchen staff knows what to serve them. This system is helping to reduce waste and minimise the risk of dinners being unavailable to children who are later on that day's rota over the lunch period.
Nearly all of the meals provided by our school are made here on site every day by our skilled kitchen team. School meals will cost £2.75 per day from September 2024, and must be paid for in advance by the Monday morning or half termly at the beginning of each half term via ParentPay, our secure online payment system. No cash is accepted in school.
Our current school dinner menus can be found in the documents below:

Allergy/Intolerance
If your child has an allergy or intolerance to any foods, they may only select a meal option after parents have read and responded to the letter that can be found here. In some cases, a meeting with our head chef is required.
